Since I’m making a big change in my life, I decided to reflect it in this cartoon. Even though I won’t be physically part of the Painted Brain anymore (at least for the time being), I will always make the effort to work online for you from wherever parts I go to. I still hope I can work from out of state and be able to get paid to help support myself and Dad. In the meantime, I thought it was only fitting to metaphorically end this chapter of my life by completing the story of the Pill-Os in much the same way I started it: I created the Pill-Os as a tribute to the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles’ premiere on American TV. I thought it was only fitting to complete that story by marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Beatles breaking up. The metaphor I made is that even though some things may come to an end, the people behind it never really go away.I hope to come back one day, but for the time being, I’m on my way through the long and winding road.
